DCC Propane, LLC’s Go Paperless Sweepstakes

Official Terms and Conditions

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. Sweepstakes starts October 1, 2024, at 12:01 a.m. CT and ends on December 31, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. CT (“Promotion Period”). Sweepstakes is sponsored and administered by DCC Propane, LLC (the “Sponsor”).

THIS PROMOTION IS IN NO WAY ENDORSED, SPONSORED OR ADMINISTERED BY, OR ASSOCIATED WITH FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM, META, PINTEREST, NEXTDOOR, X, OR ANY OTHER PLATFORM. ENTRANT IS PROVIDING ENTRANT’S INFORMATION TO THE SWEEPSTAKES SPONSOR AND NOT TO ANY OTHER PLATFORM.

Eligibility: This Promotion is open only to the following: 1) legal residents of the United States of America who are at least eighteen (18) years of age or older; 2) who live where Sponsor is legally allowed to operate; 3) who are Active Residential Customers (have had a residential propane delivery from Sponsor within the 18 months preceding entry); and 4) who are signed up for paperless billing at the time of prize award. Employees and directors of Sponsor and its affiliates, and any advertising or promotion agencies or contractors, who are under contract or have performed work on behalf of Sponsor during (or during the period six months prior to) the Promotion Period, and the immediate families (parent, child, sibling, and spouse of each) and members of the same household of each of the above, are not eligible. Void where sweepstakes registration is required or otherwise prohibited by law. All applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. By participating, Entrants agree to abide by all terms of these Official Rules, the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”), and to the decision of the Sponsor and waive any right to claim ambiguity in the Sweepstakes or these Official Rules.

How to Enter: Active Residential Customers who are signed up for paperless billing at the start of the Promotion Period will be automatically entered.  Other Active Residential Customers may enter the Sweepstakes during the Promotion Period by signing up for paperless billing at our local brand websites or by mailing a 3×5 postcard containing their complete first and last name (no initials), email address, complete 6-digit customer ID code, physical mailing address and telephone number to Sponsor’s address as stated above.  Any Active Residential Customer who is automatically entered but does not wish to participate may opt out at info@dccpropane.com.

Limit of one (1) entry form submission per person during the Promotion Period. Only fully completed entries are eligible. No automated or artificial entry devices and/or programs permitted. Proof of submission may not be deemed proof of receipt. Sponsor is not responsible for any undelivered direct messages, post cards, emails, or other attempts at entry. Entrants fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by these Official Rules (as well as any details indicated in any social post or other directions provided about the sweepstakes) and the decisions of the Sponsor, which will be final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants consent to receiving additional promotional materials from Sponsor by email.

Winner Selection and Prizes: Winner selection will take place by random drawings on February 1, 2025.  A total of nine (9) winners will be chosen with one prize awarded to each winner.

Each prize to be awarded will consist of a credit to the winner’s account in the amount of $1,000.00. Prizes are non-transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash, and no substitution or cash equivalent is allowed (except that Sponsor reserves the right, in Sponsor’s sole discretion, to substitute a prize with one of equal or greater approximate retail value). Each prize may only be used for bulk deliveries to the residential address set forth in the Affidavit of Eligibility.  Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Any expenses that may be associated with receipt or use of prize that are not specifically listed herein are the responsibility of winners. All federal, state/provincial/territorial, and local taxes on a prize (as well as any delivery or other applicable fees and incidental costs that may be associated with the prize) are the sole responsibility of the winner of that prize.

Winner Verification and Notification: Potential winners are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. Instructions for claiming the prize will be sent by to the potential prize winners via private message or email, including requests for potential winners to provide complete first and last name (no initials), email address, complete 6-digit customer ID code, physical mailing address, telephone number, date of birth and any other information required by law.  In order to receive a prize, each winner must return a completed Affidavit of Eligibility within 30 days of prize award.

Sponsor is not responsible for any undelivered direct messages, emails, or other attempts at contact, including, without limitation, emails that are not received because of a winner’s privacy or spam filter settings which can divert any Sweepstakes email, including any winner notification email, to a spam or junk folder. If any eligible winner cannot be reached within seven (7) calendar days of first notification attempt, if any prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or in the event of noncompliance with these Official Rules, such eligible winner forfeits prizes. Upon prize forfeiture, no compensation will be given. At Sponsor’s sole discretion, an alternate potential winner may be selected from all remaining eligible entries. Potential winners must continue to comply with these Official Rules and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. Limit one prize per person/household.

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT OR ANY OTHER INDIVIDUAL TO UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO PROSECUTE ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. By accepting a prize, winners agree to release and hold DCC Propane, LLC and its divisions, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, sales representatives, contractors, and advertising and promotion agencies (“Released Entities”) harmless from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by their participation or resulting from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize. Please see the Sponsor’s privacy policy located on its’ website for details regarding use of personal information collected in connection with this Sweepstakes.

Other Conditions: In case of dispute as to the identity of any entrant, entry will be declared by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the account used to submit the entry. “Authorized Account Holder” is defined as the natural person who is assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational, institution, etc.) responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Any potential winner may be requested to provide proof that such winner is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the winning entry or other proof of identity. The Released Entities are not responsible for technical, hardware, software, network or other communications malfunctions, errors or failures of any kind, lost, interrupted or unavailable network connections, Website, Internet, or ISP availability, unauthorized human intervention, postal delays or errors, traffic congestion, or failed, incomplete, garbled, jumbled or delayed computer transmissions which may limit one’s ability to enter the Sweepstakes. Sweepstakes Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, extend or suspend this Sweepstakes. In such case, winner(s) will be selected from all eligible participants prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken. Entrants who do not comply with these Official Rules or attempt to interfere with this Sweepstakes in any way shall be disqualified. Released Entities are not responsible for any typographical, display, input, or other error in any Sweepstakes materials, or for any errors or problems which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries, or in the announcement of prizes, including such error that may give an erroneous indication that a prize has been won.  By accepting a prize, winners grant Sponsor a royalty free license to use their name and likeness for advertising and marketing purposes.

Winners List: Sweepstakes winners will be notified after the random drawings and will be notified via email address provided at time of entry.  A full list of sweepstakes winners will also be posted on Sponsor’s website.
